The Little Blue Pilot
Ask Little Blue

A little space to explore together.

The Little Blue Pilot is a storybook, original songs, a film and small discoveries for children aged 3 to 8 and the grown-ups beside them.

Begin anywhere

Read a chapter together, listen to a song, look inside the aeroplane or make something on paper. There is no score to chase and nothing to unlock before you can explore.

Little questions, carefully chosen

Ask Little Blue uses a collection of written questions and answers. It is not a live chat. Children cannot send messages, record their voice or upload pictures to it.

Your own keepsakes

Names, words, photos and drawings in the Workshop stay in your browser. The printable is made on your device, and you print or save it there. These details are not sent to us.

A quieter kind of website

No advertising, behavioural tracking or public profiles. The reading light and motion choices stay on this device. Offline saving is optional, and you can remove saved pages in the reading preferences.

Music and video beyond this website

Streaming services have their own content and privacy choices. A short notice appears before a link to another website, and a video or music player loads only after you choose to play.

When the internet goes quiet

Choose “Save for offline” in the reading preferences to keep the storybook, the music pages, Ask Little Blue and the pages you visit next on this device. Songs and videos need a connection. Your browser may remove saved files when its storage is low.

Make yourself at home

Your little corner of the sky.

These choices stay in this browser. Nothing is sent to us.

“Keep everything still” stops the site’s moving pictures and slides, whatever your device is set to.

A little trip offline

Save the storybook, the music pages, Ask Little Blue and the pages you visit next on this device, so they open without the internet. The songs, the films and the music services are never saved and still need a connection. Saving never includes anything you type, draw or add.

The Sky Map and the navigation journey keep their own progress, with their own “start again” buttons.

A note for grown-ups
